Toyo NanoEnergy 3 Launched
Kuala Lumpur – (May 15) – Toyo Tyre Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. launched the Toyo NanoEnergy 3 tyre that is designed for use on compact and saloon cars. The NanoEnergy tyre aims to deliver improved fuel economy and a longer tyre life due to the new polymer in the tread compound that lowers the rolling resistance.

Developed using Toyo Nano Balance Technology, the NanoEnergy 3 increases mileage, improves fuel savings while providing a comfortable ride.
Nano Balance Technology is a systematic collaboration of four nano-level technologies; analysis, simulation, design and production; that resulted in a new tread compound.
The new tread compound adopts a low rolling resistance grip polymer that blends with the high contents silica and carbon to lower rolling resistance while the active polymer maintains a fine balance level of wet grip and low rolling resistance.
Furthermore, the ribs and grooves of the tyre contain advanced features such as wide straight grooves, Silent Wall and 3D multi wave sipes to enhance aquaplaning resistance, reduce noise emission and prevent irregular tyre wear.
While most of the NanoEnergy 3 attributes are aimed at efficiency, it also delivers on the performance front with a high-hardness ply-coat stock and bead filler that increases handling stability, something the new casing profile contributes to as well.
The NanoEnergy 3 represents a new direction for Toyo Tyre Malaysia by branching out into a more ecological direction that places an emphasis on fuel efficiency, improved tread wear and lower rolling resistance that will certainly be felt by motorists in the long run.
